Any idea of a good price on the 60" belly mower for the 4100? And any idea where I might buy other than local dealer? Does Carver Eqpt. carry the Deere line?

I paid $2000 for the 60" mid mount mower deck for my 4100. If the local dealer fails to cooperate try calling other dealers in the area. I am sure there are other companies that make a deck that will fit but if you want genuine JD you will have to pay the long dollar. ....

I have a JD 54" mid-deck mower for my 4100 which I bought new 2 months ago from a JD dealer for $1500. Paid about $100 extra to get the muching kit. If you want to go with another manufacturer, I know that Woods (http/www.woodsonline.com) makes them to fit the 4100. I don't know if they are any cheaper. ....
